Reaching up: r and u
Lesson five. Your pointer fingers reach up for R and U. They are busy fingers, so take your time and keep the reach small and neat.
Keys in this lesson:
- r
- u
Tip: R is just up and to the left of F. U is just up and to the left of J.
Ready? Sit up tall with your feet flat, put your fingers on the home row, and look at the screen, not your hands. Have a break after about 15 minutes.

For grown-ups
There are 4 short exercises. The tutor waits for the right key, so mistakes cannot pile up, and it shows accuracy and words per minute at the end of each one. The mini test is passed at 90% accuracy. Speed is not part of the pass mark unless you switch on Speed goals (goal for this lesson: 8 words per minute). Progress is saved only in this browser.
