Teacher notes
- Print the whole pack double-sided (five sheets of paper) and staple, or hand out one page at a time.
- Answers: Word search words: train, plane, beach, hotel, ticket, bag, map, passport. Odd one out (the odd word in each row): banana, pencil, cold, table. Fill the gaps answers: bus, bag, hotel, ticket, map, hot. Unscramble answers: train, plane, beach, hotel, ticket, camera. Match answers: ticket = You need it to travel. passport = You show it at the airport. hotel = You sleep here on holiday. map = It shows you the way. camera = You take photos with it. suitcase = You pack clothes in it. Code breaker secret word: map.
- Level fit: Next Steps (Level 1). The language targets are on the last page as I can statements.
- Low-ink: the pack uses only black outline and no shading, so it prints on any printer.
