Teacher notes
- Print the whole pack double-sided (five sheets of paper) and staple, or hand out one page at a time.
- Answers: Word search words: puzzle, book, game, paint, cards, story, music, craft. Odd one out (the odd word in each row): banana, spoon, swim, tree. Fill the gaps answers: read, play, paint, puzzle, listen, film. Unscramble answers: puzzle, paint, cards, story, music, craft. Match answers: puzzle = You fit pieces together. story = You read it at bedtime. paint = You use it with a brush. cards = You play games with them. music = You listen to it. craft = Making things with paper and glue. Code breaker secret word: game.
- Level fit: Next Steps (Level 1). The language targets are on the last page as I can statements.
- Low-ink: the pack uses only black outline and no shading, so it prints on any printer.
