Teacher notes

  • Words: said, they, because, people, again, friend, school, house, water, there.
  • Cover the first column with a folded piece of paper while you write.
  • Check by looking at the word in column one, letter by letter. Put a tick if it is right.
  • Use the Try again column for any that went wrong, and note the tricky part of the word.
  • Replace the words with your own weekly spellings by typing over a copy in a PDF editor, or writing in column one by hand.
